  • School attendance team (Education Welfare)

    The School Attendance Team discharges all the Local Authorities responsibilities in relation to School Attendance.

  • Educational psychology service

    Bury Educational Psychology Service (EPS) offers a wide range of evidence based psychological services. We carry out identification, analysis and holistic assessment of children and young people's strengths and needs and provide intervention and recommendations to support Special educational needs and disability (SEND) by working directly with children and young people and consulting with others involved with them.

  • Emotional health and well being support

    Specialised interventions to support vulnerable children and young people, training and support for school staff and professionals, and personalised training, intervention and development packages.

  • Educational visits advisory service

    Advice, guidance and support on all aspects of the educational visits process. An online planning, advice and notification system with approval procedure for educational visits, to ensure that arrangements reflect LA guidance and current national good practice.

  • Governor support

    This service provides administrative support to Governing body meetings.

  • Curriculum and Language Access Service (CLAS)

    The Local Authority Ethnic Minority Achievement (EMA) service works with schools to develop effective provision for minority ethnic and English as an additional language (EAL) learners.
